MICHAEL JACKSON is getting paid a massive £5 million to simply show his face at the birthday party of a prince.
A host of A-list stars are being paid to attend what is likely to be the showbiz party of the year, as HRH Prince Azim of Brunei celebrates his 25th birthday in England this weekend.
Jackson, who hasn’t performed since he warbled a few lines at the World Music Awards last year, flew in from LA yesterday for the event.
However, the moon-walking star won’t be getting up and singing at the event, the £5 million price tag is simply for the star’s presence at the party.
A source told the Mirror: “Even though Michael won’t be performing, the very fact that he’ll be in this stately home mingling with all of the Prince’s pals makes it worth every penny to Azim.”
The bash is set to be held at a plush English mansion at a cost of millions, although the prince is the son of the Sultan of Brunei – one of the world’s richest men.
Other VIP guests included JERRY HALL, NAOMI CAMPBELL, KATE MOSS and PAMELA ANDERSON, while BARBRA STREISAND is also being tempted over from the US.
His ass better do it.. cause he really needs some more surgery.. How could he ever go bankrupt with offers like this…

The past months have offered tragedy and joy for Angelina Jolie.
“This has been a very heavy year, in losing my mom and having a fourth child,” the actress, 31, told Ann Curry in a Today show interview that aired Wednesday.

“I suppose I’m very aware of time and of memories and enjoying life,” Jolie continued, “not just doing the right thing and being a useful person – which I certainly want to be, and believe that I am.”
Recalling her mother, actress Marcheline Bertrand, who died in January at age 56 after a nearly 8-year battle with cancer, Jolie said: “I want to be a great mom like my mom was. And I also want to do things that I love.”
On Tuesday at the Cannes Film Festival, where she and Brad Pitt premiered their new movie, A Mighty Heart, Jolie told reporters she plans to take a year off from acting to spend time with her family: Pitt, 43, and kids Maddox, 5; Pax, 3; Zahara, 2; and Shiloh, who turns 1 on May 27.
(Jolie adopted Pax in March from Vietnam, and recently added a fourth line to the tattoo on her left arm that features coordinates for the birthplaces of all her children.)
“I’m in a strange, I suppose, place in my life,” Jolie told Curry. “I think that happens when you lose a parent, where you drop into a different kind of serious. And yet, at the same time, you want to laugh and enjoy as much as possible every day.”
To that end, she said, “I’m hanging on to my family really tight at this moment, and, because of that, trying to be as good a woman as I can be in my life.” At that point, Jolie broke down in tears. “Dammit,” she said, “you got me crying.”
Curry apologized, but Jolie, regaining her composure, said, “That’s alright. It’s part of life. … I lost my mom. It’s a natural thing for a child to lose a parent. I lost my mom too young, but it happened. And I’m happy she’s out of pain, because I love her and she’s my friend.”
I feel bad for her and her family cause they get so much slack… but oh well thats a part of being a celebrity…

Britney Spears got panned for the quasi-concert she just gave in Miami this weekend, and her harshest critic was none other than Madonna’s brother.
Christopher Ciccone sniffed to a Page Six source that Her Madgesty, his sister, “would never go onstage looking like that.” That, of course, was a tramp-ish get-up including white go-go boots and those ever-problematic hair extensions. Page Six adds that the Miami crowd — full of gay men and trannies – “sneered” at Brit’s look.
Of course, as People reports, it’s not for lack of trying — or shopping — that Britney’s looking so rough on stage. The mag reports that “not ten minutes” after arriving at her hotel, she and pals stopped at stores all over South Beach, even fitting in a little spending — while fans waited to get into the club.
Yeah you have to admit she’s trashy as hell on stage lately.. but give the girl a break she’s trying to make a comeback.. maybe Madge can help her out a little bit.

Reports are swirling that tabloid princess Nicole Richie is back — yet again — in rehab and more “helpless” than ever, but TMZ is told that it just ain’t so. In fact, as we write, Nicole’s sitting at home in Glendale, and doing just fine.
The National Enquirer and Star magazine are jointly reporting that Nicole re-entered rehab at Beau Monde on May 11 to fight anorexia and a painkiller addiction, on an outpatient basis, and that she did so “in tears,” lamenting the fact that she’s “lost control of her life.” What’s more, report the tabs’ sources, she went back in just a few days ago, on the 19th.
But Richie’s rep tells TMZ a totally different story, namely that she isn’t — and wasn’t — in rehab, and that she’s “in Glendale at her house” (and, we presume, eating). We’re told that she did go back to see her therapist, and that her recovery is “an ongoing process,” but that she’s “completely sober.
Who believes those dumb ass sources anyways….I thought she already threaten to sue their pants off once anyways..
